book covers or other story-related graphics

Has anyone else made a book cover (or a sig or something else) for their julno? I don't have, um, a story yet, but I do have a cover. If you've made one you should post it; they're so fun to look at. :D

here's mine that I just wasted lots of time on when I could've been brainstorming:

(Erin, in case you're wondering, I haven't decided if the dead presidents are zombies or not haha.)

Oh, *waves*, I make graphics to procrastinate, I should be digging my MC out of holes, but... *shrugs* I made this set, and some character banners:

And some charries I haven't introduced yet (fanfreak do not looky):

Yeah, listening to music and writing at the same time was bound to lead to this *shakes head*

I just wasted a bunch of time making this...in case you're wondering, the picture is one I took for a project on tarot, and it actually is my tarot deck.

I made my cover a few years ago. I decided to basically tear the novel back down to its bare frame and start all over again.

I fell into a rut of distraction today, so instead of trying to press on, I procrastinated by making this cover. GIMP is so fun.

It isn't a cover, because I have yet to find a good enough photograph, but I did make a poster featuring my most enigmatic MC, Jesse. : D

@burnttoast: Your Ricky looks almost exactly like how I picture Jesse to look. Where'd you get that photo? : D

Yay! I'm not the only one with Gimp :)

This is a cover I just made for someone.

And this is the cover for my NaNo Novel '08. The picture has very little to do with the actually novel, I just thought it was a pretty picture ;)

This thread has inspired me to start making one. However, I'm having some trouble with GIMP. I'm at a loss at how to make backgrounds transparent. Could somebody help?

Sorry it's a tad large.
A cover I just got done with a few minutes ago. =P
I won't actually be using it but I rather like it.
Credit goes to Scully7491 @ deviantart for the brushes & feel.zeroexposure.net for the textures.

Okay, I got it. This took a lot of time to make, especially because I don't have that much experience on GIMP. Emmaline Rosa is my penname, by the way.

I know it's grainy, but it's the best I can do on Paint. I'd rather be using GIMP (I need to experiment with it some) but it isn't on this computer and I don't feel like asking to put it on. There's no author on it because I don't know what pseudonym I'm using on this. *shrugs*

V I made this set I'm currently wearing. *nod* I also made a banner for my novel but I don't have it on photobucket so I can't post it. Besides, it ain't all that great...
