Isn't Dutch your mothertongue? It IS mine, even though I don't normally speak it much.

I would have preferred English so that my DH and sons could read my novel but - on the other hand - it was quite liberating to write and write and write with nobody peeking over one's shoulder. XD


Yes, it is my mothertongue, but I find it very hard to write stories in Dutch. I only write poems in Dutch, that doesn't work out in English. I write my JulNoWriMo novel in English, so I can use it as a writing assignment for next year, and my friends may use it for a bookreport! Fame, here I come :P.
