Paramedic/EMT question

If you were examining someone who was struck by lightning but not directly, what would you be looking for and what kind of tests would you do?

There are the normal pulse, repiration, conciousness and cognative exams and if tehre is an erradic heart rhythym they can do an field EKG. What they do all depends on how concious the person is. They ask 5 questions, the persons name, the date, where they are, who's president and I think it's the time but I'm not sure about the last one.

I worked in an ICU too long *LOL*

Even if someone has not been struck directly, there may be an electrical burn on the skin. Check for it anyway.
