I know a lot of science, particularly biology and medicine.

I know a great deal about crafts, including counted cross-stitch, rubber stamping, and scrapbooking.

I know how to raise kids as a teenager (not my own... my little sisters, who are 8 and 10 years younger than me).

I know how to play the violin and clarinet.

I read a lot and listen to a lot of music, so I could possibly be of some help there.

I've been to France and the Netherlands in recent years, and could explain some of the culture and/or sites there. I know a little French, but just enough to get by.

Things I know a good deal about :
* Greek mythology
* Norse mythology
* The history of vampires
* Packing and moving (I'm doing it now, for the 4th time in 4 years)

I also know some about cosplay (costume play, usually for conventions), cursing in languages including and other than English (though sometimes the spelling escapes me), and the behaviors and dietary habits of felines.

Dang! I know some things, but most of them are already taken! Oh, well, here they all are, even the ones that are taken:
-Some Spanish
-phsycology of early-mid teens
-growing up in the 60s (from mum)
-Harry Potter
-some basics of drawing and painting
-a few Japanese words
-Greek mythology
-gardening
-life and climate of New England
-crocheting
-how to make a quilt
-life and climate in south-east Virginia
-Down's Syndrom
-and if any of your characters are bi or lesbian, i could help with that, too. ;)

Probably not all that helpful, but that's it!

Some say in ice.
From what I\'ve tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think that for destruction ice,
Is also great
And would suffice.

*Opera. I am not exactly an expert but I have a decent understand of the terms and know a decent amount of famous opera plots. I'm really good with Comic operas, Mozart and Gilbert and Sullivan in particular.

*Dogs. I know several training methods, have a decent understanding of behavior, know tons of breeds (if you need to pick out a certain type of dog for a job). Sadly I don't know too much of the vet angle but I could find the answer quickly.

*Computers. I'm not bad with them myself and my Dad knows a ton of the subject. We are both more hardware people. I do know a little bit about hacker culture but not first hand stuff, as of yet at least.

*General Geekdom. If you need to make your character a little (or a lot) geeky I can totally answer any question.

*Juggling. I myself don't juggle, I use sticks but I use to know a few tricks and I've got a friend who is decent at it. I can ask him any questions.

Looking back I'm not a helpful person :rolleyes:

-Sociopaths/Anti-Social Personality Disorder.
-Criminology.
-Greek Mythology.
-Egyptian Mythology.
-Flute.
-Stonewall Riot & LGBT History.

I'm not sure how any of this could be helpful to, well anyone really. But if by some minuscule chance I could be of service, I'm an open book.

Oh guns. I dunno how I forgot that. disassembling, assembling, cleaning, firing, what you need to do to actually aim well (there's more involved than you think), makes, models, loading, whatevs.
I just got back from the gun range and was cleaning my gun when I realized that knowledge could be of help to someone...

I can't say I'm a foremost expert on any topic, but know enough to be danagerous on the following topics:

* Working full-time and going to school (4 to 5 classes a term)
* The community college environment in Massachusetts.
* Being a student past 30 (as well as several friends)
* That being said, being a child in the 80's and a young adult in the 90's
* The New England area (esp. Central Mass.)
* Raytracing (the way that they make Pixar movies)
* Some robotics
* Xerox printing presses and desktop publishing
* Some French
* Some HTML and C++
* Roleplaying games, with emphasis on D&D

I can also get info on:
* The accounting world (three friends are accountants)
* Historical re-enactments
* Being new parents (I swear it was like some strange disease last year, there were 5 new pairs of parents (not counting those going for their second kid)O.o)
* Being a single mom (of a 7 year old and a newborn and another who is raising a teenager)
