I would recommend Google Docs. It saves your work nearly every time you pause for a few seconds and you can access it and update it from any computer or internet-capable phone (with the right App, of course). I recently downloaded the google Docs app on my phone and it's amazing.

The basic answer is, wherever you would like to! We don't require you to submit "proof" that you actually wrote as many words as you say you have - this competition is based on the honor system.

I would recommend backing up your writing in multiple places, though! There have been many writers who have lost their work partway through JulNoWriMo due to computer failures. :(

^ And that is a recommendation for ALL of your writing, not just what you're writing for this month. :-)
