I guess mine is a fantasy novel, although it takes place on Earth in 2329. Urban fantasy? The premise is that there's a huge swarm of strange orc-like creatures called delt that are swarming floating cities. For the last three-hundred years, they had been in a little desert called Kasdae, but now they're overrunning cities in a blitzkrieg to get to the capital on the other side of the continent.

Unfortunately, the delt aren't attacking; they're running for survival, and no one knows why. It's up to the protagonist to figure out what's really causing the delt to run. I'm thinking it'll be a trilogy and span about 3 years.

Is it just me or is it when you're trying to post on a topic thread like this that you realize you're really bad at summing your novel up?

I'm in about the last third or so of the second book of a trilogy I'm writing all as one project right now, so the synop I gave for the Julno site no longer actually works because of what happens after what I thought the ending was. LOL

so, yeah, I get the whole "really bad at summing your novel up" thing.
