^ Not as important as it used to be. The stories themselves are important, but the actual writing is not - I'd be content to keep them inside my head or portray them in a different way.

^ I'm writing the current draft of my WIP in chronological order for the sake of continuity. However, the first draft was written in just whatever order I felt like. It meant I had to write around four chapters from the same sub-plot in one day towards the end of the project... that sub-plot has been scrapped from this draft. x)

^ There have been numerous influences on how I do my writing, but the one I remember the most (because it's pinned to the wall above my desk in Vienna) is: "I write when the spirit moves me, and the spirit moves me every day", quoted from William Faulkner.

^ Dragonforce. They were victimized by some of the most powerful trolls around who convinced the world that they're fake and even I believed it, but they continued on strong as ever through the years in a way very much as if to tell the world I don't give a fuck if you hate me. It may still be an embarrassment to tell people who my favorite band is, but what they've managed to achieve is astounding considering all the obstacles people put on them for no reason other than to wipe them out of the world completely.

^ It depends what you mean by talent. If 'natural' talent, then it's not important at all - it'll just take the people who aren't naturally talented at writing a bit longer to get to wherever they want to be. As a 'learned' talent, it's important - but it's not the most important thing unless your main goal is to be a good writer. If you simply want to be a published writer then it's not important; as long as you're a good storyteller and have a rough grasp of spelling, punctuation and grammar then you still have the chance of becoming a publisher writer.

^ I don't compare them to myself while I'm writing, no. My characters seem to have a life of their own. The scary thing is that, now that I've bonded with my current cast for over two and a half years, I've picked up some habits from them. Not all of them are positive.
