Righto, so I just created a lavaslide in my library riot, and I have Helen of Troy right in the middle of the whole thing, as well as a serial killer whose first weapon was a rubber duck. *shakes head* Righto, this is definitely a plot that is running away

Sometimes it's the ones that run away that go the farthest. Just make sure you don't lose sight of it entirely. ;)

Seriously though, crazy plots can do wonders for your motivation. Just run with it and see where it goes. Remember, this is a first draft.

And one that's never getting published! I have a basic idea, but I don't think this one will reach the publishers, unlike my 2006 NaNo. Especially seeing as Helen of Troy has cropped up.

You're published? Or no? If so... incredibly awesome!

Not yet but there is interest from two publishers in my NaNo

Well, thanks to my invention of duck powder...and the fact that he threw the duck beak first at the guy...you get the idea

Well, ummm see, the anvil was hanging suspended from the library roof and the string broke, and the anvil fell right through the floor of the library, right down to the core of the earth and lava exploded out and poured down the steps of the middle level of the library where you go in and down to the lower level.
