Start with a conversation. Any conversation.

Use two characters, but don't mention their names for a while.

Between two elves, discussing where the plans are at that time or something - places that could be conquered, stuff like that.

Its difficult to pick, isn't it?

I've started two mini-stories in mine, and one was with a conversation and another was just a random idea.

If you're stuck with the beginning though, start with something a little further in - you can work back later then, but if you pick a point where you can just write for ages now, then it might be a little easier, and you'll get more confident as your word count takes off.

Oh, and yeah, your plot does make sense

Sounds interesting. :) Keep writing!!! Write anything, remember it's all about quantity, and not about quality. You shouldn't delete anything. :P

I would suggest starting with a description of scenery...something insignificant but wordy, and soon you'll find that just writing about the setting inspires you to write more about the actual story :)

You can\'t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

Oops. Accidentally posted twice. Well, while I'm here, here's another suggestion: Before you write the story, write a history of your characters--doesn't matter how detailed you get. And once you get to know your characters, the rest falls into place.
