Well, I've got a plot, finally. I was on the bus today going into town (yes, I got far enough ahead for me to decide I could go out now) and I was planning.

I think Catherine was a little bored on the way back, but I apologise.

I should've given her my phone to play Snake again.

Catherine'll come up with my title, anyway - title problems? Not when you've got a witty stepsister.

surprisingly, I never have this problem, because as soon as I have an idea, the title pops up instantly and they're usually really good (If I do say so myself) and even some story ideas come from a title I think up, like 21 Ways to Die.

Almost everything I've written is untitled. I figure I should get a little more of this written (and more of a plot) before I name it, though it might mention "Streetlight Hunters" in it, as that's the name of the little group my main characters have created.

That sounds interesting. If I saw that as a title of a book when I was browsing for something, I'd pick it up and have a look.

Does anyone besides me ever thing that the subjects of spam emails would make good titles? I keep a list of the ones I think are interesting, and fully intend to use some of them sometime. XD

Hee. My favorites are usually the ones made up of random words. Sometimes they make just enough sense to sound cool. Like:

Mortality Pretzel
Your Future, Nasturtium Red.

Ooh! Just checked my email and in there is

"No Castleberry Till Kiron".

Fab! All that time looking for inspiration when the spammers had it all along!

Hmm, I have:

"moldy football team"
"Stendahl felt his hands grow cold with the senseless anger"
"overripe clodhopper"
"especially if your diabetes is not well controlled Narcotic sensation"

Among others. XD

I like some of these spam titles.

Only one of my stories has a title as I've always left the title to be decided later but yesterday I read an article on the 'snowflake' method of crafting a story and I think I need to put more effort into coming up with a strong title, and a strong one sentence synosis, then build outward from there.

( The example synopsis sentence given in the article was "A rogue physicist travels back in time to kill the apostle Paul." )
http://www.advancedfictionwriting.com/art/snowflake.php

I think that's why I'm having difficulty plotting some of my stories. I haven't got a clear enough focus on what direction the story has to go, because I haven't got the core idea crystal clear in my head.
