XD

What are the exact requirements of that project, btw? I get the feeling you're doing a lot of overachieving there.

Going shopping! Been waiting for winter sales. Drink coffee with A halfway through, then do something for uni in the evening. I'm asking because I'd like to skype with you though - last evening without the roommate.

If I have to do it then I might as well do it right. :P
I wonder if a website design might be a smarter move for my graded unit, actually...

I messed up that requirement anyway. Apparently only one external link is needed - but it's per page. xP For the website itself -- there's paperwork, a visual mock-up and 'behind the scenes' elements such as folder organisation as well as the creation itself -- it's required that it's at least three pages and each page must contain: one internal link; one external link; a picture; and various font/sizes/colours. So, I guess that means I've already passed. I'm on my fourth page. XD

Won't be as much fun though.

Hehe. Sounds pretty easy for you. Are they teaching you everything from scratch in the webdesign class?

Waiting for my hair to dry. x.x

It could be. This one has been pretty fun.

They are, yeah. It's a very basic class that only lasts 13 weeks - and I've been doing web design for six years. The lecturer actually interrupted my planning on Thursday to ask whether or not it's difficult to embed a video. x)

It would be less work that a novel! Faster too. I could even reuse a lot of the HTML from this one. I used a style sheet (we're not even being taught how to use them...) for the layout so the main file isn't even bogged down with too much crap. I'd probably do it on KT~

But that would interrupt my way of working on my own project: earphones in and just getting on with it. :P It's probably the one class I don't chat through. x)

Have fun~!

I haven't started on it. Instead I've spent another four hours working on the website (and I took an hour break in the middle to watch a DVD related to the subject of the website  ). Only four and a half pages of content to go and then it's all finished! (Although I cut the overall number of pages down from 16 to 13).

Sounds good. :]

Of course photos are needed!

Around 10 chapters of the outline. I think. Haven't looked at it in a couple of days. ^^; My priorities changed on Thursday afternoon. XD On that note, that's the remaining half a page completed. Four to go. =D

I've had to restart my computer three times today but I'm finally down to just two pages left to go! And they both require a lot of content (so they'll take a few hours each) - but I finally feel as if I'm getting close to the end!

edit:

And it's finished! An 11-hour session followed by a 12-hour session is, uhh, 23 hours? XD But it's done in just two days!

Thanks. :]
And, well, I've a lot to do! ^^; But I have literally saved myself 7-8 classes worth of time by doing it at home: where I have access to photoshop and no web blocks. 8-) All that is left now is to do is type of the paperwork (I hand-wrote it) and it's officially complete. I've two tests (one closed-book; one oral) and then I've finished the entire unit. The written test is on Thursday and I already know I can pass it in under five minutes. The oral will be easy too but there is no set date for it. x) Then I'll have a free three hours every Thursday afternoon until March 7th! Although I'll be going to class anyway and working on something else.

Congrats, Tina! Once again I envy you for the difference in our courses. All my exams are towards the end of January / first week of February! x.x

But I'm having a productive day today. Vacuumed the room and now studying Japanese geography.

I don't think you understand the course I'm doing if you think that: it's still the same type/level of education and it is also taught in universities (in Austria too - I just checked! The only key difference is that here in Scotland we distinguish it with a different name from a degree). I chose specifically to do it at a college. It just means our academic performance is not graded solely on how much we can write down in 1-2 hours! x) Part of it is (eg: I've a 2-hour exam in two weeks on the history of print media), but not all of it. It'd be the same for any vocational subject.

I do understand that. Just forgot. Or rather, referred to the fact that your exams don't take place during the two last weeks only. But then again, I did have exams and tests in November and December, so I guess you're right.

Lost motivation for more. :| Probably going to read now. Do you have any plans for today since you finished the web design project?

We have to cram a lot of practical work into the last couple of weeks of each trimester rather than revision. Hence why I was so busy in November - my diary for November is so colourful! XD M (male M) was flicking through it on Thursday -- while I was making notes of dates for our current film project -- and he found it hilarious how busy it looks compared to now (almost halfway through the current units).

I've spent the past couple of hours writing up the paperwork and redrawing my designs in photoshop. x) It's going to take me a little while longer to finish. Once I've finished the planning I'm going to evaluate it (even though I don't see anything in the document about needing to do one) to justify why the final product differs so much from my initial plans.

I keep forgetting you two have trimesters instead of semesters, mainly because I used to have semester exams in January prior to sophomore year, so it's not all that unusual. And other schools around me have similar schedules.

I don't know what I'm doing with my life today lol. I know I have some notecards for homework but that's it...also a project due on Wednesday but like why would I work on that today haha.
