Has anyone been multitasking before?

The reason why i am asking is i am just wondering if anyone has worked on more than one writing project. To keep from being bored for the rest of the day besides being busy.

I am just curious and want to know if anyone has ever multitasking. Before because i do it all the time it keeps me from being bored throughout the rest of the day and night. However, it also keeps me busy and makes me happy.

So i just curious if anyone on here is like me and multitask. Please tell me because i am interested and want to know about. Tell me about it and why you do it and how it makes you happy throughout the rest each day or night you multitask.

Yup. I constantly multitask. Its entertaining, side-steps writers block neatly, and satisfies my constant urge to write and to build new worlds. I like spinning them out like intriguing jewels from scratch.

I find it hard to stay on one story as i write, either because i hit a slow point or because a new burst of inspiration hits and demands its own story.

After driving myself insane with two very different stories in April/May (one story was good, the other only got finished out of sheer bloody-mindedness) I've decided to avoid writing more than one thing at once. It's always tempting, though...

I do work on more than one story. But it will be in periods. A couple of weeks on one. Then I get bored or simply just get inspiration for another story, so I switch. After writing on that one for one or more weeks I might switch back -yeah, might. I've got plenty of unfinished stories just lying around-

But I barely work on two stories on the same day -besides on 'switch'days-. Just like Siana says, it gets to complicated for me.

I'm writing on different stories; so when I get stuck on story A I can switch to story B or C.

I have one project for JulNo and one project for Camp NaNoWriMo going this month. I'll write 1k on one and then switch so I'm always working on something new. It's been working pretty well for me, actually. ^^ I've been getting a lot more done that way. There's also a short story document I keep open just in case I get stuck.

So basically, I'm always multitasking to some degree.

I'm trying not to multi-task. I'm afraid if I get too involved in another story right now I will neglect my current project

I have several stories started, but I usually work on just one at a time. If I try to work on two or more, the story lines get jumbled in my head. I've never been very good when it comes to multitasking in any area of my life. It stresses me out, and drives me insane.

Yeah and it's killing me. Going forward I only to write one, and put it aside for a month while editing another.

I can multitask, but my muse? Not so much. Seems she can't write one novel and edit another at the same time. Right now, I'm editing.

At least I can still write songs, though...

... and in spite of saying this, I find myself totally unable to pick between 'How to Nuke Your Enemies' and 'Crystals and Moonlight' for AugNo. I could well be going for a double header in August. Hmm... Camp NaNo + AugNoWriMo?

I will definitely if not going to sleep in the morning since it is closer to 2AM, Then i will continue to write each of my novels and fanfics. Until i will be completely exhausted and i hope insomnia does not catch up to me at all. Throughout the rest of the morning before daylight happens to come as well.
