Does anyone know where people who have private planes put their planes? Do they put it on the airport as well?

Thanks :D

Hmm...I think that some people have private hangars at airfields. I have family members that keep their planes in hangars in their backyard. It all depends what type of plane you're talking about (whether it's a small plane, like a seaplane, or a private jet of some sort).

I think that Harrison Ford keeps his planes at Santa Monica Airport, which is a general aviation airport. That is a lot different from a commercial or military airport, where I don't think that civilians are generally allowed to store planes.

Private planes are usually stored in private hangars at smaller airports, usually non-commercial. So you wouldn't generally find, for example, a Southwest Airlines jet at the same airport as a private jet.

Also, if you want specifics on private jets, the top of the line would be Gulfstreams. Google it for all the different versions.
(Fun fact: that's also where the term "G-6" from the song comes from. Even though there's not a G-6. ;) )
