That was great...Thanks for sharing! I could totally relate. I was the sleepless writer last night. I was tossing and turning with maybe 15-30 minute sleep intervals. My brain just wouldn't shutdown. I would think about what's happening next in the story as I was dreaming. I'd wake up having to type it out on my computer to get it out of my system. Then I'd go back to sleep for a few more minutes, and the cycle would start all over again. Finally around 5 am I said screw it, and stayed up. I was able to finally sleep some more from 8 am to 11 am, but only after three hours more of writing. My characters were very persistent last night, and I'm still zombie-fied. Now I need to stop writing, so I could make some lunch. I may make a fresh pot of coffee as well before returning to my novel.
