I may not feel like an adult, but I'll be 22 in a week, so I suppose I am one. Hello other adults!

I am 23, so I suppose I am technically a grown-up.

But I guess age is a state of mind.

You are only as young (or old) as you feel. :-D For some reason, meeting people under the age of 15 make me feel really, really old. Dunno why. But it doesn't stop me from jumping into the piles of leaves accumulated in the parking lot as I leave work. :-)

Don't say you're old, Presea. I'm just a little bit behind you! I'll be 28 in 5 weeks! But I only feel old when younger adults say they don't remember things like the old saturday morning cartoons (GI Joe, He-Man, TMNT, Smurfs, etc).. or other important media parts of my youth. Hehe ^_^

It's sacrilege when people our age do not remember He-Man or She-Ra or Smurfs for that matter. That's like the cornerstone of our childhood. Haha!

Anyone have any idea what they're doing for their novel this July?

I know what I'm doing. It's set in Storyland, a world where the literary devices in stories literally exist: Dimwitted brilliant idiotically perfect Mary Sues, farmers breeding cute or vicious plot bunnies, characters and authors frolicking together and discussing their plot holes, a real Writer's Block where only idiots dare go, where time freezes and nothing happens, the whole shebang.

The working title is All Hell Breaks Loose in Storyland. The plot: When an evil wizard enslaves the Great Narrator, who is supposed to ensure that everything runs smoothely, and that all stories have an end...all hell breaks loose in Storyland.

Anyone else know what they're doing?

I feel young... maybe I should head to the teen forum I'm 18, here in Australia that gives me all the perks of being an adult (such as drinking and responsibility) and I want none of it.

I know what I'm doing... even though I haven't finished my NaNoWriMo novel yet.

Mine will be about the adventures of a magic traveling shop and the boy who is suddenly a shopkeeper, a profession he realises is the oldest and most prestigious, not just anyone gets the job and most of them are thousands of years old.

Hi all i probably should be responding in the teen one considering i'm the youngest of the ages listed i just turned 17 yesterday so yeah but i'm browsing the forums anyway so yeah. Which by my interests you'd think i was older.
by the way i remember he-man and smurfs they were some of my favorite cartoons when i was little even though not too long after i was watching them they started to take everything good off tv. Scooby-doo was one of my absolute favorites as well as Top Cat Popeye Alvin and the chipmonks Josiey and the pussy cats jaberjaws courage the cowardly dog Johnny quest Johnny Bravo aquaman Dexter's laboratory Looney toons and of course the Marvel Hour cartoons Spider Man Iron Man XMen Fantastic Four the incredible hulk etc.
When ever i talk to my classmates about those shows they either don't rember or bring up something recent ugh:crying: they don't make them like they used to.

As far as my novel i'm not quite sure yet but there's plenty of time i've got a couple of ideas like this one i was planing to do for script frenzy or something else or my recent horror story if i don't work on the prequil to my NaNo or one of the storys i was working on last time

I think Doug was my all-time favorite childhood cartoon. :-D *aaaeeeoooooo...killer tofuuuuuu...ooooeeeeeoooooooo....killer tofuuuuuuuuu!* /nostalgia /tearwipe

Good times.

@ki1312...don't panic! It's only May. :-D Plenty of time for an idea to emerge! But if your muse refuses to come out, try doing some free writing, where you just spend some time writing down everything that spills out of your head, without trying to think of anything in particular. Sometimes good stuff emerges...and sometimes the result is as insane as a pink hippo in winter. :-D

Hello :) I'm turning 20 this year, in November, so yes, technically I'm still a teen, but the teen forum is filled with high school students so I feel a bit too old to get into that forum :p

I'm a college student and since I also live in Australia I can drink liquor already :p

Ha ha yes, the cartoons from the '90's were the best, were they not?

janefendy...you are only as old as you feel!

that said, i can count on one hand (given that the hand has six fingers) the number of years since i've been out of high school, yet being among high school students now makes me feel SO OLD =/

You're not too old. I'm a year into college but talk in there with them; the college thread in there last year wasn't all that successful. ><

I'm 19. From Britain. Like last year I just intend to bounce between here and the teen board.
