How many teens?

So, just how many teenagers are doing JulNoWriMo? Speak up! :D Tell a little about yourself if you like.

I'm Robert, 15, from Pennsylvania. I did NaNoWriMo last year and I won, but barely. I had to cram during the last few days to get finished. I actually was done two days early, but I was starting to get a little frantic...

Anyway, on here I probably sound like a geek or something. In real life, I'm not. I'm a totally different person. Just to clear that up a bit. Honest.

And I guess I should try to go write something now before I fall even farther behind.

I'm Bethany, 18, from Massachusetts. I tried NaNoWriMo last year. I failed miserably. I'm hoping that if I have more practice now in July that maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to pull it off in November (because right now, I am so behind and I have no expectations of actually pulling it off now.)

And me? Well, I'm exactly as geeky as I sound. So, there ya go.

Oh, you're not that behind. You're farther ahead than me, lol.

Um...yeah...I'm Colonia, just turned sixteen this April. My first WriMo was this previous one in 2004 and it was an amazing success. I had it LuLu-ed, and two of my friends have read the thing already. And it's loaded with silly typos.

Right now, I'm wearing an orange tank top and listening to Jazon Mraz. I named my dresser Elizabeth last night, and I hardly ever use it because I am lazy. I consider myself a communist, although most people would call me socialist, and I think that The Lion King is an extremely snazzy movie.

Er...that's all the important stuff, I guess.

Oh, and I'm trying to reach 100,000 this month. And my main character's name is Lola September. That's all.

I know it's only May, but I just thought I'd go ahead and put myself in here. The forum looked like it needed a post, just . . . because. I'm fifteen, and I'm already quite excited about JulNoWriMo. I received my idea for it last night, and plan to spend up until July prewriting for it.

Also, I'm known as Adriana and Creative_Madness on other writing forums, including April Fools, which officially stole my sanity.

*waves to empty forum* Nice to meet everyone, and can't wait until July!

Welcome! :) We've gotten a lot of new members over the past few months. The old threads (such as this one) may be closed so we can start new discussions in May/June/July and not have to worry about old topics.

I won't be able to do JulNoWriMo this year, going on a big trip, but I'll still be here for a few days.
