Where are you from?

Just wanted to poke in and see where people are from. If enough people from a given area are participating, there could be write-ins, after all :)

I'm from around Seattle, WA. If you know the area I live in Kent, but right next to Des Moines and Federal Way. I'll be trying to recruit more writers from the area, but who knows?

So, how about the rest of you lot? Where are you from, anyway?

I'm from Langley, BC! XD

Yeah, I was gonna say that there was this group from the November NaNoWriMo that was in my area, but I think this is a bit smaller, eh? ^___~

Lol, I think this is smaller. Much smaller. I missed NaNo but I think I read on the site they had nearly 60,000 participants last year.

They had write-ins in my area at least once a week for NaNoWriMo, and a whole lot of people did it then. But, hey, NaNoWriMo started with, like, twenty people and now it's so huge. Maybe it'll be the same for JulNo :)

I'm from central Pennsylvania. :) I don't think there's too many people living in the same area, from what I've seen. Although, I think obi1sgirl recruited a friend.

I'm from central Texas. I'm in the middle of no where, about an hour and a half from Dallas. Unless cows have some how gotten access to the internet, I think I'm the only one from my immediate area.

Michigan, about 20 minutes West of Detroit. No, I don't own a gun. ;)

And yes, I did recruit a friend. Lured her to Starbucks one night and made her borrow No Plot? No Problem! 8-) The baristas at that Starbucks are definitely going to get to know us next month... and maybe the nearest Ram's Horn, as well. It's nice to have a few 24-hour spots.

It seems like we all live in the middle of somewhere [or no where, as it may apply!].
I'm one of those - central Florida for me though... and definitely the middle of no where, too. :]

I think I'm the only one who doesn't have English as her first language :P. I'm from the Netherlands, and I don't think there are other participants close to me . Maybe I'll recruit a friend of mine for next year, I won't be as lonely as this year, then ;).

Alberta, Canada! Near Edmonton, the capital of this lovely oil country. ((Note: Go Oilers Go... even though we lost *shakes fist at Carolina 'Canes*)) I should recruit my sister... she'll have more time for this in July rather than in November... seeing as we don't have school in July ^_^

No need to be lonely! We'll all support each other I'm sure! :) So far it looks as though I'm the only Brit here unless the ones who haven't posted are from my country (yes, mine! All mine! Bwahaha)

Thanks for the support :P. Well, if you need support, just send me an e-mail or something, my friends allways say I'm the best cheerleader they're ever seen (our school doesn't even have cheerleaders!). Well, they always come to me when they need help, and they always go away smiling, so yeah, I think I'm a good cheerleader XD.
