I'm writing a Christian Fiction novel that at the moment is called My Journey Called Life-- it'll stay as that until I think of a better title :

Hi Mavs, what was your NaNo name? I had the same one here as NaNo

On NaNo I'm mavsgirl41312, same as here. I don't think I've seen you on the forums much over there though!

You just have to live life not caring what people think-- just prove to them that you're better than what they think you are.

JS, I'm trying to steer clear of space opera, but I think that's what it's morphed into. :)Probably because I'm so young. Why? Interested in my junk?:D

Are we the only Christian sci-fi writers?

I mostly stuck to the Religious one, but I also had another online community I hung out with more. Ever heard of Dragons in Our Midst by Bryan Davis?

Hey! I'm looking forward to meeting some other Christian Julno'ers

I did NaNo last November with a Christian historical novel
This year t'will be the same, a Christian novel set in the Great Depression. Anyone else writing Christian historical fiction?

oh, and is anyone on here from British Columbia?

I'm not writing Christian historical fiction, but I am writing Christian romance. More importantly though, I'm from British Columbia. Victoria though, what about you?

I had an editor tell me my story was Christian/Fantasy, but she hadn't read all of it. I'm pretty sure it's just blasphemous. Not that that was my intention.

Hi! I'm doing book three in a Christian sci-fi series that's going to turn into sci-fi/fantasy for the last three books. Giant mecha robots meet elves from another dimension... mwa ha ha! My problem is mostly that I have issues making the Christian element integrate with the plot so it's not 'blah blah blah plot blah blah blah random church stuff that comes out of nowhere!' I've got a lot of editing to do later... :)

Great to see everyone's progress

I did MarchNano, and a contest came up in Canda recently. I decided to enter but had some heavy duty editing to do before i could send my story in... You know how it is when you write under pressure...

I mailed my manuscript last night, with over 53,000 words. Now here we are July 14, and i wrote just a few pages for JulNaNo (which i havent transcribed to the computer yet. Needless to say, i wont be writing 50,000 in July. I'd need a full week off work to catch up and then some...

The other story is still so fresh in my mind i can't think of what to write. Hopefully in Aug.

Keep up the great work everyone. CHEERS! :)

I have a WIP Christian sci-fi but haven't done it in a while since I started writing a fanfic. When I'm done with that I plan on going back to it. But I like to combine a Christian theme with science fiction and more the space opra like Star Wars.

Hi there

I've done only one Nano. It was this past March. It was a lof of fun for sure. I wanted to do JulNo but was editing my story from March so i could send it in to a contest.

My March story was a Christian story, more of the mystery/drama genre, "whodunit" sort of thing.

I started JulNo late. It is also a Christian story. Not sure where I'm going with it. I just write as I go along.

Happy Writing.
