Well let's see. I'm not sure I'd say expert, but i know a lot about :

I'm Canadian so I might be able to help with Canadian things (I am in western Canada though so if you have questions about specific places I likely can't help you... unless it's about Victoria, BC).

Harry Potter (I doubt this will come in handy, but you never know)... this includes books, movies, music (Wizard Rock, Wrock for short), names of many wrockers (only talked to a few in person though), and many other things... actually might say expert here :P obsession can be a good thing.

Christian Fundamentalists (extreme) a la the Duggars (I have way too much time n my hands I know)

Growing up as an only child in a single parent household.

I think that's about it.

I'm an expert on:

~NASCAR: Anything and everything, it's my life.
~JROTC/Military: I know just about everything there is to know, from drill to boot camp, everything. I was scheduled to go to a summer program at a military college, but because of ankle problems at the last minute, I couldn't, but I still have everything memorized, plus my manual. I mainly know Air Force, but I know a lot about the other branches as well.
~Journalism/Digital Design: I've taken 1-8 of both these course, and I am the co-editor for my yearbook in the upcoming school year, I just returned from "yearbook camp" so it's all still fresh in my mind.
~Newsprinting: Before our senior newspaper came out our teacher had a guy from the local printing business come in and talk to us about how a newspaper is printed...In excruiating detail...So I know excatly how it's done.
~WoWC: Call me a nerd, but I'm obsessed can anwers any questions you might have.
~Trivia: I know, my nerd status just went up. I go almost every night of the week to various places for trivia, and my school has a trivia team, in which I am the Junior Varsity Captain. So I know various forms of trivia, which may or may not be helpful to anyone.
~Archery: My school was state champions...Teams are allowed 24 members, the highest 12 are counted, and I was number 8 for my school. I know everything they could be to know about archery except for hunting specifics.

That's all I can think of for now, but I'll edit if there's anymore.

I am an expert at:

- classical ballet - I've done it for fourteen years straight, but more recently taken a back seat due to work.

- Geography. Not soils and landforms and stuff, but where certain countries are, capital cities (I know all of the European capitals and countries off by heart)
- Tourism. I have my Diploma in Tourism, travel is my passion.
- Australia. I am Australian, so ask away!
- Jane Austen. Is my best friend, I am freakishly obsessed with her.
- Tudor History from Henry VIII. War of the Roses stuff not so much, but from Henry onwards, I'm pretty clued in!
- Tennis. Love it, love it, love it. Not exactly an expert, but still.

- Fashion Terms- My parents are very suprised by this.
- Making Friends- By no means am I popular, but I have alot of friends. You know the difference, right?

Computers - hardware, software, networking, etc. Should be able to give anyone enough information to write something to put any movie about hacking to shame (okay... so that's not very difficult). Working on a Masters degree in Computer Science and have worked two internships in software development (one at a small unknown government-sponsored company in north Jersey, the other at a large well-known investment bank)

Vampires - I've read/watched/etc. most kinds of vampire stories, so I know the whole spectrum of weaknesses, strengths, etc. Even wrote half of a vampire novel myself with some (semi-)original ideas.

Resume writing / thank you notes after interviews / pretty much anything related to getting a career. I'm a bit obsessive about my own pursuits and have picked up a bunch.

The NYC Subway system - not like you couldn't Google it

lets see I'm pretty pathetic
I suffer from social phobia so if anyone needs help with a seriously shy character I'm probably an okay person to ask
Recently I have undergone a major surgery which I am recovering from now - I'll happily go into the social repercussions of being ignored for four months if that's relevant. I've also had to wear a back brace for three years (the reason I'm so shy I'm thinking).
There is a fourteen year age gap between myself and my youngest sister

I've learnt German for four years and I've stayed with an unfamiliar family for a week and a half in Germany with no contact with home. I've been to America and I know quite a lot about Europe and British customs and politics.

I've kissed someone of the same sex and one of my good friends is a pyromaniac. I know quite a lot about being a teenager with a comfortable friendship group and what being a rebel is actually like.

I also know quite a lot about modern history and I know a lot about the 'underground' music scene. I've also lived in London for a while and visit it regularly, so if anyone wants to know about the rough areas of London, talk to me.

--- I am a dog trainer by profession, and particularly enjoy trick training.
--- I'm mildly obsessed with dog nutrition and puzzlebox-type dog toys.
--- I love herding breeds, and have owned or trained most of the major breeds (no Belgian sheepdogs yet, though ;_; ). I own two australian shepherds at the moment.
--- I also like to keep tabs on common health disorders for particular breeds.
--- I own and work with a congenitally deaf dog, and I love to talk about what it's like to work with her.

--- I have lived in the Carolinas my whole life. If you want to know if your southern dialect is realistic, feel free to ask me to check for the proper levels of redneckitude.

--- I am a closet nudist. I know very little about nudist culture, but would be willing to give information about the reasons I enjoy the lifestyle myself. (It's official: there is no way to write this sentence without it sounding dirty)

--- I love religious history (particularly Jewish history in the divided kingdom time period), Judeo-Christian religious theory and totally useless religious trivia.
--- I am an awkward middle zone between modern gnosticism and theoretical agnosticism. If you want a really confusing religious PoV, I'll try to untangle my belief system for you.

--- It's not a hobby of mine, but I get roped into a lot of Urban Exploration because of my boyfriend and his group of friends.

--- Also not my hobby, but I've picked up a fairly solid understanding of the Industrial music genre (not the same as industrial-rock like Nine Inch Nails). Mmm, GenCAB and God Module <3
--- My boyfriend is a DJ, so I have knowledge about the inside workings of a radio station.

--- I knit, crochet and spin my own yarn.
--- I also spin my own custom yarn from dog fur (mixed with a small amount of alpaca for strength).

--- I have been clinically obese since I was eight years old, so I consider myself an inside-perspective expert on what it's like to grow up as the fat kid.

--- I was in a three-year relationship with a then-undiagnosed sociopath (has since been diagnosed), and I'd like to think that I knew her fairly well.
--- I lived with a schizophrenic mother-in-law for four months. I don't mean "woman is crazy." I mean: she had eight children, all homeschooled. She bathed less than a dozen times in the two years I knew her. She hoarded food like there was going to be an apocalypse in the immediate future. She would go without sleep for weeks at a time, then sleep for days at a time. She frequently speaks to herself, is fully convinced that she is normal, and has vastly erroneous views of the outside world. Sentences like "I can't take the dog to the vet because then the vet will see that he's sick!" make sense in her head. I was once shouted at for throwing away a bowl of fruit covered in inch-long maggots, because "those were still good!" Even her children, who love her fiercely, admit that something is wrong with her. She's also scary-smart -- very strong math skills, incredible memory for facts. My uncle is a diagnosed schizophrenic, but he's nowhere NEAR as severe as she is. So if you need to know what it's like to live in a household with rules that completely defy logic, I never get sick of explaining exactly how confusing it was to go from living autonomously to being under the thumb of a crazy-lady.

@Draggar: Your bullet-point list is an amazing summary of me and my boyfriend combined into one person. 0.o Like.. creepily so.

- I am a japanophile, so I can give information about the culture, language etc. The cherry on the cake is information about anime and manga - I've been watching/reading different series from various genres and remember most of them.
- As an ortography freak I can help if it's about English, Estonian or German ortography.
- Computers and everything connected to them, devices (tablets, MP3 players, TV, whatever), because I'm a electronics nerd.
- Have had major depressive episodes, so can help with the feelings and the symptoms. (Not the thing to be proud of, but it helps me to write)
- Very, very moody - at one moment extrovert and hyper, the second introvert and depressive.
- Have been to two European schools, and this autumn attending a high school in Estonia. I can give information about European school system.

I know quite a bit about horses, more specifically classical dressage and the relations between dressage and the training of horses for war.

I know a lot about oral story-telling and related subjects, including various myths and folk-lore. There is very little I do not know about the Norse Myths, but it is not the only mythology I know.

I know a bit on various historical subjects, but more on the history of ideas than on archeology. And more on classical and mediaeval subjects than modern.

I can answer most questions about Tolkien's works, excluding the Elven languages.

And probably more that I can't think of at the moment.

I have lived in several parts of the US over the years and would be willing to help answer any questions about : Alaska, Upstate New York, Michigan (the Detroit area), or Western Washington.

I have experience with the following types of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, Bettas (fish), African Dwarf Frogs, and we have our first tortoise.

If you need to know anything about interview scheduling, or how that fits into the recruiting process for one of the US's major software firms, I can help. (If you want to know what an RC or Recruiting Coordinator's responsibilities usually are, I can help as that's basically the same thing and I have had both titles.)

I can answer a bit about how the US Census works, from the fieldworker's point of view.

I crochet and tat quite a bit.

I'm a mom, so I can help with general baby through preschool age questions.

Hmmm ... that's about all I can come up with right now. :)
